Kitbashed Ork Fighta #4
After a couple of years of hanging from the ceiling of my local game store my second fighta took a nose dive from about 7 feet up and shattered. Rather than be annoyed I saw it as the perfect opportunity. I'd never really been happy with the design as it was slightly too large for a fighta and the rules for the dakkajet had just come out. So in true orky tradition I cut the aircraft in half and made two out of it. This is the second one I made out of the rear half. I paneled over the structure with styrene and added empty solder tubes for the engines. Styrene and putty for the wings, rhino doors for flaps and some model jet parts detailed it up.
